The Bicycle® Baroque deck echoes the 2012 Maiden Back signature deck from U.S. Playing Card Company. With a nod to seventeenth-century aesthetics, the playing cards feature royal families instrumental to the Baroque art movement. Each illustrated court card depicts a specific royal kingdom of the Baroque era.

The elongated and airy number cards explore unique configurations and use Roman numerals, while still acting as a playable deck of cards.

A custom Ace with dueling Knights, and court-styled Jokers invite the over-52 cards into natural play.

Mark Stutzman has captured his favorite era with Bicycle Baroque, a set of poker playing cards that highlights four European royal families whose inexhaustible commissions produced exquisite architecture, art, and music. Full color captioned court cards tell the story of four monarchies that lapped up the spoils of their massive wealth. 
 
Based on the Bicycle brand's classic Maiden Back design, the Bicycle Baroque back infuses a more ornate aesthetic, reminiscent of the 17th century. A hearty metallic gold edge and an interior matching rope border add shimmer next to the powdery blue and cream scrolling design reminiscent of a plastered relief ceiling.
 
Forget the ordinary. Elongated suits and Roman numerals evoke a touch of elegance, and the two-way jokers can comfortably join the court for game play. A custom ace of spades features two Spanish knights under the crown.
